Hammersmith and Fulham Council sets term dates for the area’s maintained schools, published via its official term dates page. For a period the council shared some services, including elements of children’s services, with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council, in a cost-saving ‘tri-borough’ arrangement, though schools themselves remained under each council’s own management. Department for Education data shows every state secondary school in the borough is now an academy, with just over half of primary schools also converted. As with most local authorities, these dates apply to the borough’s remaining maintained primary schools; academies set their own calendar, so it’s worth checking with your child’s school directly if they attend one.
